Hi, I'm Scott Krager
iOS developer based in Oregon, building apps that make everyday life a little bit easier.
Building Useful Software
I started Krager Labs with a simple mission: create apps that genuinely help people. Not apps that chase trends or maximize engagement metrics, but tools that solve real problems and then get out of your way.
Every app I build starts with a question: "How can technology make this easier?" Whether it's helping someone with hearing difficulties follow a conversation, or giving aspiring EMTs the study tools they need to pass their certification, the goal is always the same - make something useful.
I believe in thoughtful design, clean interfaces, and software that respects your time and attention. No dark patterns, no unnecessary complexity, just tools that work.
What I Believe In
User-First Design
Every decision starts with the user. If a feature doesn't genuinely help someone, it doesn't ship.
Simplicity
The best apps feel invisible. They solve your problem and get out of the way.
Accessibility
Great software should work for everyone. Accessibility isn't an afterthought.
